Guardian of the Bridge

Author(s): Diana Harris

Children's books

In days of old there lived a taniwha who was the guardian, the kaitiaki, of a very deep lake. This book tells the tale of how he became the guardian of Auckland's Harbour Bridge instead. First published in 1990, GUARDIAN OF THE BRIDGE has been much loved by children ever since. This new edition contains six extra pages of facts, figures and images of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, and a brief history of the area.
